Full Days & Full Minds

At Mount Tamalpais School, our school week includes more than core academics, athletics, and studio and performing arts. We offer a range of classes, experiences, and ways for our entire community to connect and be involved. For example, all kindergarten–8th grade students visit the technology lab at least once a week for dedicated instruction. Creating something with our 3D printer or learning to code, our students experience technology in meaningful ways. Kindergarten–sixth grade visit the library weekly and all students are welcome in the library starting as early as 7:45 am daily. Our outdoor education program is robust, with trips to the American River, Westminster Woods, and Yosemite. All students further experience the outdoors both during the school day and through science excursions and study. Even when the school day ends, students can choose from a variety of enrichment classes, individual music lessons, or time with friends in after care. The days are full at MTS and we like it that way.
