A Day @ MTS
At Mount Tamalpais School, our school day includes more than academics, athletics, and studio and performing arts. We offer a range of ways for our entire community to connect and be involved. For example, all kindergarten–8th grade students visit the technology lab at least once a week for dedicated instruction. There you’ll find students creating prototypes with our 3D printer, learning to code, or working on stop-motion animation. Kindergarten–sixth grade students visit the library weekly, and all students are welcome to stop by as early as 7:30 am. Our outdoor education program is robust, with trips to the American River, Westminster Woods, and Yosemite. All students further experience the outdoors both during the school day and through science excursions and study. Even when the school day ends, students can choose from a variety of enrichment classes, individual music lessons, or time with friends in after care. The days are full at MTS, and we like it that way.
