Erasing the Finish Line: Helping Chilrden Thrive in an Always-On Digital World

In this talk, Ana will offer practical strategies on how to motivate today's students to develop the foundational skills need to design their own blueprints for success, including a system based on executive functions, connections rooted in authentic socialization, perspective expanded through immersive exposure, and a sense of acceptance toward strengths and opportunities for growth. She offers insight on navigtating parenting in the age of technology and how it all fits into the bigger picture of raising healthy, engaged, young adolescents. 

Ana is author of four books, most recently, "Erasing the Finish Line: The New Blueprint for Success Beyond Grades and College Admissions" and is the founder of Silicon Valley-based Green Ivy Educational Consulting and the executive director of Lumniaria Learning Solutions, a non-profit initiative supporting executive functioning skill development in schools. 

The evening will include a presentation, followed by Q&A. This is a public talk open to the broader community.
