STEM Fest (ideal for families with preschool – 3rd grade students)

  • Saturday, November 3, 2018, 10:00 am – 2:00 PM

Drop-in for thirty minutes or a few hours of hands-on tinkering and puzzle-solving fun with our science, technology, engineering, and math teachers. Activities are offered for all ages, including preschoolers.


Wendy Mogel, Clinical Psychologist, Parenting Expert, & New York Times Best-Selling Author showcases her latest book, Voice Lessons for Parents, What to Say, How to Say It, and When to Listen

Dr. Wendy Mogel presents an essential guide to the new art of talking to children, and shows how a change in voice can transform conversations and ease the relationships between parents and children.

FAMILY PLAY DATE IN THE MTS GYM  (ideal for families considering K-3rd grade)

Bring your family and join our PE and performing arts teachers for organized PE and movement games in our gym and on the playground. This is a great way for children to experience our teachers and campus. Juice, coffee, and breakfast snacks served.

BREAKOUT AT MTS (for students currently in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade)

Join our STEM lab teachers for a set of real life games, puzzles, and challenges to escape a room before the clock runs out. Parents are invited to stay and talk with our leadership team to learn more about grades 4–8 at MTS.

MTS Campus Bike Bash

Does your child have a new bike to ride in 2019? Too long since they have ridden the old one? A little nervous that the old bike might fall apart upon first pedal? Join us for our first ever...MTS Campus Bike Bash. We are including prospective families in this MTS community event.


Current MTS families host neighborhood coffees and wine & cheese gatherings in their homes in January. These informal gatherings provide an opportunity to hear from the Head of School, talk with current MTS families, ask questions, and get a feel for the school community. Addresses provided upon RSVP.

Bring your current 4th or 5th grader and experience classroom mini sessions, hear from our head of school and head of middle school, and meet MTS graduates on our alumni panel. The evening is designed to provide a deeper look at our middle school program and curriculum, as well as answer your questions.
