Alexandra Stallone '04

Two years ago, the Governance Committee of the Mount Tamalpais School Board of Trustees decided to create the new role of Young Alumni Trustee. The goal of this new position is to engage with alumni, learn from their experiences as MTS students and graduates, and work on creating and building an enduring alumni program for MTS. Alexandra (Allie) Stallone has been a tremendous asset to the MTS board in serving in this role since September 2020.

After graduating from MTS, Allie went on to Branson, and then graduated from the University of Southern California. A natural connector, Allie has had a career in marketing, working at leading Bay Area media and beauty brands for the past nine years. Recently, Allie began a new role as Marketing Manager on the Google Photos team, focused on growth marketing and ecommerce.

When asked why she was interested in being on the MTS board in this new role, and giving back to the school, Allie noted, “...because MTS and its teachers provided me with an incredible educational foundation, and I wanted the opportunity to get involved with the school again. Meeting with [Head of school] Andrew Davis and seeing his vision for the school and its future made me excited to be an advocate and contributor to the future success of the school and its community.”

Allie is a member of the board’s Advancement Committee and Governance Committee, and notably was a member of the recent Strategic Plan Committee, helping to identify the large priorities for MTS for the next five years. Having an alumni perspective in each of these areas of the school has been critical to the work of the board and future initiatives.

With favorite MTS memories that include “incredible teachers and their devotion to their students and the amazing school spirit and traditions like the Buddy Bear program, Outdoor Education trips, and Angel Island day,” Allie has enjoyed being part of the MTS community in this new way, and providing helpful ideas, context, and school history.
