Our Values, In Their Words: Classroom Agreements

3rd Graders Meeting in Homeroom

During the first weeks of school, students in every grade worked together to create their classroom norms. Representatives from each grade then met with Head of School Andrew Davis to discuss those norms and explore how they connect to the school's five values: Lead with Kindness, Honor Childhood, Practice Active Inclusion, Celebrate the Journey, and Ask "What's Possible?"

What they found: the students' ideas for working well together already reflected our values. Their norms ranged from "Mistakes are OK," and "Have fun!" to "Treat others how they want to be treated."

See how our students describe our values in their own words.
