Halloween Celebration
We had such a fun time on campus today for our Halloween celebration! Students were dressed up in fabulous costumes. They had the chance to show them off as we kicked off the day with a Halloween parade that we zoomed into classrooms (and parents were able to watch from home as well). Each student paraded past the zoom camera. In a parade finale, Lindsay Bercovitch, the Performing Arts teacher, led students in a Monster Mash dance.
Next, the Lower School students headed down to the Pumpkin Patch set up in the MTS Grove by our parent volunteers. The students had a great time with their cohorts picking out their pumpkins and playing under the trees.
Students enjoyed other Halloween activities with their class cohorts through-out the day. Parent volunteers zoomed into classrooms to read spooky stories. Kindergarteners danced to "Monster Moves," and students tried to pick out teachers in the "I Spy Halloween" bitmoji poster that Lisa Levin, our librarian created.
We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Halloween tomorrow!
