Fall Harvest from the MTS Garden
Our second graders harvested a lot of vegetables in the garden. This week, they feasted on some of the plants that were planted in the spring. They ate carrots, beets, kale, and tomatoes, all grown in the MTS garden. Some of the comments were:
"The beet is SO good!"
"Mmmm, it's so fresh!"
"Dude, try the carrot!"
Sometimes, it's the simplest things, like eating fruits and vegetables straight from the garden, that bring the most joy."
