5th Grade Girls' Basketball Team Wins Championship

Congratulations to our 5th grade girls' basketball team for winning the final CYO championship game last weekend on Sunday, March 20. While the team led the entire game, it was a close, hard-fought victory given the height advantage of the St. Raphael Bobcats team. During the season, the MTS Bears team had to beat all three St. Raphael teams to win the championship, and two of the three teams were undefeated when the girls beat them! While the girls had a size disadvantage in every game, they played with a bigger heart! Congratulations also goes to coaches Gerry Guarriello and Ben Sharp for their leadership.
