Joy and Rigor, Not Joy or Rigor

At MTS, we don’t believe students have to choose between being challenged and loving school. “Learning is revered, and education is joyful” is at the heart of that belief. Beginning in kindergarten, students learn from subject-area teachers, allowing them to go deeper into each discipline while building relationships with teachers who bring their own passions and expertise into the classroom.

Co-ed. Uniformed. On Purpose.

Here at MTS, we are proudly co-ed and one of the only schools in the North Bay that pairs co-education with a school uniform. With the uniform, families experience less morning friction, less social comparison, and more attention to who your child is becoming rather than what they are wearing in school. 

I love that the MTS uniform creates an immediate sense of belonging and community. Through the Used Uniform program, I also get to see how uniforms can be passed from one family to another, making them more accessible, reducing waste, and giving back to the school.
