Diversity & Inclusivity at Mount Tamalpais School
Mount Tamalpais School's commitment to Diversity and Inclusivity begins with the solid support of the Head of School and Board of Trustees. Our mission addresses the importance of this work: “The school's program, atmosphere and overall environment have been designed to encourage the development of the whole child, with an emphasis on strong academic preparation, values, emotional growth, personal and social skills, effective thinking and problem solving capabilities, with attention to individual strengths and diversity. Mount Tamalpais School places equal emphasis on the academic and social development of each student within a community that esteems family, the pursuit of personal excellence, the perpetuation of valued traditions and the development of a strong moral code.” MTS does not discriminate on the basis of race/ethnicity,
color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in the administration of any of its employment, educational programs, admissions policies, financial aid programs, and other school-administered programs.
