Completion Requirements
Community Service Requirement
Your required hours of community service are to be completed by May 1st. You may meet this obligation in a variety of ways as long as it is voluntary work (i.e.. not paid), is in service to a community need and for a non-profit organization or cause.
Please include a statement or form signed by your supervisor upon your completion of these hours. Submit that with an essay which addresses the questions below.
Please include in a brief introductory paragraph the name of the group with which you were involved and the community which it helps. State how long you have been working with this group as well.
1. How did you find out about the project in which you worked?
2. In what way did your experience affect you? Did you feel positively or negatively about how you spent your time? Relate an incident which helps to explain those feelings.
3. How do you compare this service project to others in which you have participated? Do you think it is better, not as good or comparable to others? Why?
4. Do you think this a project that others would like to do? Why or why not?
