A Message from the Alumni Office
Welcome to the Mount Tamalpais School Alumni webpage. From our first graduating Class in 1982 to our most recent Class in 2010, MTS alumni have embraced the values, educational principles and traditions that make Mount Tamalpais School such a unique and special place. MTS alumni can be found in countries throughout the world, in cities across the United States, and even back on our Mill Valley campus.
No matter where life takes you, we encourage you to maintain close ties to your fellow alumni and the Mount Tamalpais School community. Please let us know where you are and what you are doing by filling out the Alumni Update form available on this website. We encourage you to attend the MTS Founder’s Day Picnic held each year in September, theater and musical productions on campus throughout the year and special Alumni events held in the Bay Area.
We welcome your participation in the MTS community by volunteering your time, lending your expertise or making a financial contribution to our Annual, Scholarship and Endowment funds. As we look forward to Mount Tamalpais School’s continued success in the 21st century, we ask you to greet the future with us.

The MTS family is growing! Justin Wells ‘86 and hiswife Heather welcomed Angus Charles Wells on Mother’s Day, May 9, 2010. Sarah Wickham ‘99 andBevan Jones welcomed Sienna Marley Jones on Father’s Day, June 20, 2010.Congratulations to all!
Todd Stein, ‘88 was the recipient of the 2010 Silver AceAward in the Original Screenplay Category at the Las Vegas Film Festival forhis film Van Holland, a “Gus Van Sant meets F. Scott Fitzgerald” independentdrama.
Roger W. Petersen, ‘90 has been busy writing music fororchestra, wind symphony, chamber ensembles, choir, and the stage. His musichas been performed throughout the United States, as well as in Europe, Asia,and Australia. Two of his compositions are included on h2 Quartet’s CD “Times& Spaces.”
Jack Sargent, the son of Katie Darling ‘88 and DaveSargent is joining the MTS Class of 2019 this fall. Classmates will includeEmma Kroncke, daughter of Megan Kuykendall ‘83 and Kevin Kroncke.Emma’s big brother William is a member of the MTS Class of 2017 and Megan isrejoining the MTS faculty!
Rebecca Barker ’97 is engaged to Iain Bridges and will bemarried in the spring of 2011 in Calistoga. Rebecca and Iain are spending the summer in Dubai.
Ali Kariotis ‘09 won the National Junior Olympics title in Mogulsby laying down a near perfect run on a challenging course in New Hampshire inMarch 2010. Competing against the top 60 junior skiers under age 20 from acrossthe US, Ali nailed her victory with a 360 on her top air and a big back flipiron cross on her bottom air. Ali is one of the few 14 year olds ever to winthe national championship.
Dana Ross ‘91 and husband Todd Rogers swung by campus thisspring to visit Kate and introduce baby Caroline to the MTS community.
